Terms of Service

1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hair Club by Urban Man website, online store, and related services (the "Site"), operated by Made It Here Pty Ltd t/a Urban Man (ABN to be advised) ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order on the Site. By using the Site you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Orders & acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion, including where a product is out of stock, incorrectly priced, or where we suspect fraudulent activity. A contract is only formed when we send a dispatch confirmation email. We may cancel orders prior to dispatch and refund any amounts paid.
4. Pricing & payment
All prices are shown in Australian Dollars unless otherwise displayed and include GST where applicable. We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders we have already accepted. Payment is processed by our third-party payment providers; we don't store your full card details on our servers.
5. Shipping & delivery
Shipping rates, delivery times, and tracking information are detailed on our Shipping page. Estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.
6. Returns & refunds
Our return policy is set out on our Returns page and forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
8. Product information
We aim to display product colours, descriptions, and ingredients accurately, but slight variations may occur. Always read product labels and ingredient lists before use. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity, patch test before applying.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including logos, photography, copy, and product designs — is owned by us or used under licence and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to: (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) infringe the rights of others; (c) upload viruses or malicious code; (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site; or (e) interfere with the Site's normal operation.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage in connection with the Site or our products is limited to the price you paid for the relevant product. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any disputes arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site.
14. Rewards program — 50% off every 7th service
Hair Club members earn a 50% discount on their 7th paid in-store service after six qualifying paid visits. Eligibility, accrual, and redemption are governed by these rules:
Who is eligible. Visits are only counted for members who have (a) enrolled in Urban Man Rewards, (b) verified their email address, and (c) explicitly accepted these terms via the rewards page. Installing the digital wallet loyalty pass (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) is optional but recommended — it lets us push real-time visit and reward updates to your device.
How visits are counted. A visit is counted automatically when you pay in-store for a qualifying service. Free visits, gift cards, and product-only purchases don't count. Counting is per Hair Club account — visits cannot be transferred or combined between members.
Visit stamps expire after 18 months. Each stamp cycle starts on your first completed paid qualifying service. If you don't reach six qualifying visits within 18 months of that first stamp, your in-progress stamps expire and your counter resets to zero — the next paid visit begins a fresh 18-month cycle. Once you unlock the reward and redeem it, a new cycle begins on your next paid visit.
Stay subscribed. Members must remain subscribed to Urban Man emails while participating in the rewards program. We notify you by email when your reward unlocks, when it's nearing expiry, and when it has been redeemed. If you unsubscribe from our emails you will be removed from the rewards program and any in-progress visit count or unlocked reward may be forfeited. You can manage your subscription at any time, but doing so opts you out of the 50%-off reward.
Redemption. When you reach six qualifying visits the 50%-off discount is automatically applied to your next eligible service at the till. Rewards are single-use, non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and expire if not used within the displayed period. We may exclude specific services, packages, or promotional periods from the program.
Changes & termination. We may update, suspend, or end the rewards program at any time. If we make material changes we'll notify enrolled members by email. We may revoke eligibility, reset visit counts, or void unlocked rewards where we reasonably suspect abuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms.
